Baking tree cakes - Jan Kułak
The speciality of Jan Kulak’s agrotourism farm is baking tree cakes. It is a tradition started over 30 years ago. The baking is performed in the traditional method, using a stove heated by alder and birch wood. Preparing a single large tree cake of 60 eggs takes about 3 hours. Hamulka tree cakes are known not only in Poland, but also in other countries.
