In the oldest part, located on a hill around the chapel, there are numerous cast iron tombstones in a form of plinths topped with crosses, stone obelisks, gravestones from early 20th century shaped as stone branches, cast iron crosses from the second half of the 19th century, forged iron crosses on stone pedestals.
An interesting object seems to be a mausoleum from mid-19th century, made of bricks, on a rectangular plan, semi-circular entrance, above it a tympanum containing a plaque with a faded inscription. Covered with a gable roof. In side elevations deep niches – aediculae with bas-relief urns. Probably a family tomb, although there is also a hypothesis that the building had functioned as a cemetery chapel until the present one was built. A historic Goniądz necropolis contains multiple works of sepulchral art; several hundred historic gravestones were recorded.
