Vantage point of Ławki Swamp
The vantage point located at Carska Droga, which connects Laskowiec and Goniądz, is approximately 35 km long. It overlooks a beautiful panorama of the largest open marshy area – Bagno Ławki. Championship “Biebrzańskie Sianokosy”, which deals with marshy meadows mowing, is organized there every year. Its aim is to popularize the traditional agricultural use of wet meadows and active forms of nature conservation of marshy areas. Ławki Swamp is a breeding place of more than half of Biebrza aquatic warblers-every tenth bird of this species in the world. This inconspicuous brown bird is the rarest and the only endangered species of perching birds.
