The parish in Dąbrowa Białostocka (nowadays of St. Stanislaus the Bishop and Martyr) was established in 1595. Sigismund III Vasa was the founder and the parish stayed under royal collation until the last Partition of Poland.
Vantage point in Szuszalewo
The vantage point is situated on the Szuszalewo Island 7km off Dąbrowa Białostocka. This vantage point overlooks a wonderful view of the Biebrza Valley. Forests and scrubs, which are scattered among the endless swamps, can be observed from there.
